After having spent the better part of a decade engaging with numerous clients in freelance tech leadership and advisory, I have decided to look for employment in a permanent role again.

I'm available for work in a high impact role with a long term commitment at an Amsterdam based employer.

My experience is varied, and my career path non-linear, bordering stochastic. I have built businesses, launched products, managed teams of up to 25 engineers, as well as built high throughput, low latency systems in a hands-on capacity with a focus on lower level JVM optimisations and scalable persistence. I have maintained hands-on coding skills to this day.

I have also been a key driving force behind several tech communities focused on machine learning, distributed systems, and data intensive systems.

In terms of work style, my preference is towards in-office collaboration.
